I write this article having just returned from Israel. I am drawn to the Holy Land because of the Biblical stories of telling how God encountered His people in that place. The Come Back Effect

While I was on vacation in Missouri I attended a church that was in the process of taking their welcome of new guests to a new level. Like most churches, Wightman had a great celebration of Easter. We did some things we have traditionally done, like the egg hunt. We did some new things, like Journey to the Holy Land. We also did some traditional things in new places, like sunrise service on the Langford Street property. JOY Group

JOY group traveled to Charlotte, NC for their April meeting. They visited the Billy Graham Library and experienced a Journey of Faith tour that highlighted many of the milestones in the life of Billy and Ruth Graham. Great way to begin Holy Week!!

Seniors Exercise

Seniors began a small group fitness program with instructor Paulette Halfacre. They will continue to meet each Wednesday at 11:00 am in the CLC. Those wanting to walk, come at 10:30 prior to the class to walk at your own speed.
