Like most churches, Wightman had a great celebration of Easter. We did some things we have traditionally done, like the egg hunt. We did some new things, like Journey to the Holy Land. We also did some traditional things in new places, like sunrise service on the Langford Street property. JOY Group

JOY group traveled to Charlotte, NC for their April meeting. They visited the Billy Graham Library and experienced a Journey of Faith tour that highlighted many of the milestones in the life of Billy and Ruth Graham. Great way to begin Holy Week!!

Seniors Exercise

Seniors began a small group fitness program with instructor Paulette Halfacre. They will continue to meet each Wednesday at 11:00 am in the CLC. Those wanting to walk, come at 10:30 prior to the class to walk at your own speed.

Toward the Resurrection

On the 21st of this month we will join with Christians all over the world to celebrate the risen Lord! Of course, we will be focusing on the resurrection passages in the gospels and looking at what happened at the tomb of Jesus on that first Easter morning. Healing Hearts

JOY Group March Meeting

Linda Hiller shared her mission story in music and narration with the JOY group during their March meeting. This was a most inspirational tribute to her God as she shared ways he had brought her comfort, peace, and protection. Lunch was enjoyed by all.
