Wightman United Methodist Church

If you are new to Wightman and would like to know more about our church, you are invited to attend Pizza with the Pastor next Sunday at 12:30 p.m. Please RSVP (364-2340 or unitedw@bellsouth.net) by Thursday at 5:00.

The UMKids are heading to Partyz Unlimited in Chapin on Sunday, February 5, for an afternoon of fun. The day will include jumping, sliding and playing on various inflatables, climbing the rock wall, and enjoying carnival concessions like snow cones, popcorn, and cotton candy.  The kids will have lunch at the church and leave at 1:30. They will return at 4:30 p.m.

There will be a meeting Friday night, 6:30 p.m., at the home of Bennett and Angie Garner for all middle school and high school student leaders and for anyone else who is interested in helping with the youth program at Wightman.

All parents of middle and high school youth are asked to meet with Jon on Sunday, February 5, at 4:00 p.m. at the church.

There will be a Vision Team meeting at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 29. All members, please be present if possible.

WE NEED YOUR HELP! If you would like to be involved in a ministry that reaches everyone who attends our services on Sunday mornings and you are a tech nerd like us, then the Tech Team Ministry is for you. Training will begin February 4.  Please contact Steven Douglas for more information.

Wightman will observe the Souper Bowl on Sunday, February 5. Please come prepared to donate $1 as you leave worship which will be forwarded to a local food pantry.
