Have You No Shame?

Scripture Reading: Romans 1:14-17

What is shame?

To ___disgrace______ or ___dishonour_____.

Reasons we are ashamed of the Gospel:

1. It is _____counter_-_cultural_________.
2. We fail to understand its ___power______.
3. We chase after ___meaningless______ things.

Paul reminds us:

1. The Gospel is ____power_____!
2. The Gospel brings ____righteousness____ to ___everyone___ who believes.

Instead, they were longing for a better country – a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them. Hebrews 11:16
