On Feb. 27th, members of Wightman held a spaghetti dinner to raise money for the benefit of Deanna Meade. She has been diagnosed with medullablastoma - a type of malignant brain tumor. Deanna is currently at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN. A trust fund has been set up at Capital Bank in Newberry, SC, or donations may be sent to Wightman, ATTN: Deanna Meade. Approximately $12,000 was raised at this event.
