Hello everyone, it brings me great joy knowing that God has called me to Wightman UMC. I look forward to working alongside all of you as we live in service to our great God.
In 2013, I began to sense God’s call in my life to enter into vocational ministry. God’s call occurred after a long-career in the arts as a concert pianist and composer, which I retired from due to a diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis. In 2015, I enrolled in the theological studies program at Regent University and focused my studies on Biblical Theology / Biblical languages and apologetics. During my time at Regent I continued to serve in the church — first at Shiloh United Methodist Church (pulpit supply), which then led me to Wightman United Methodist Church where I began an internship/mentorship under Rev. Dr. Brian Rainwater. I completed my undergraduate work in 2019 and immediately entered into the Masters of Divinity program at Asbury Theological Seminary, which is where I continue to study.
Although I am a retired musician, I still enjoy playing piano and guitar. I also, have a passion for photography; however, this, admittedly comes and goes. Ultimately, my desire is for God and His Word — and if you spend even a small amount of time with me, you’ll find that I absolutely love talking theology!
