Rev. Barnett, or “Pastor B”, as he likes to be called, has been at Wightman UMC since June of 2020. He has served as a Youth Director, an Associate Pastor and a Senior Pastor of churches across the Palmetto State. “I grew up in Prosperity and attended Wightman while I lived here. Four years ago, I moved back to Prosperity with my two boys so they could grow up here at Wightman. I enjoy keeping the children so that their parents can go to Worship and Sunday School. I am excited to be a part of Wightman!”

My name is Chris Butler and I love being a part of Wightman UMC. I grew up and attended school here in Prosperity, and I am excited to live here now with my wife Madison and our four children: Jarin, Camryn, Peyton, and Kelton. Eddie Rivers
Eddie Rivers currently resides in Prosperity with his wife Mary Sue. They have a daughter, Suzanne, who is married to Jeremy. Suzanne and Jeremy have two children. Eddie earned a B.A. degree in French from Newberry College and a Master’s degree in Education from the University of S.C. My name Julia Roach. I live in Prosperity, and I’ve grown up attending Wightman UMC. I have always been plugged in with church, and I became heavily involved in the Tech Team in 2013. I have an associate degree in General Technology with a Concentration in Advertising Design with a Specialty in Photography from Piedmont Technical College in 2019.
