On Friday, April 27th, Wightman UMC held a night of worship where the community gathered together for the sole purpose of praising our great and wonderful God. We were so blessed to have three bands lead us all in worship (One life band; Newberry Young Life band and the Wightman UMC Praise Band). In addition to the music, dessert was also provided. It was a joyous occasion of true Christian fellowship and it is our hope to continue to provide more opportunities for the community to experience the loving embrace of a God who knows each and every one of us by name.
We want to thank all of those involved in organizing this special event! It is because of your gifts and talents, which were given freely by the Holy Spirit, that others were able to worship and praise God for all that He has done for us through His Son – Jesus Christ and all that He continues to do through us by His Holy Spirit. – Thank you!
