The mission of the WARM project is to reach out to the community, primarily outside the church family, and fix houses for people who are physically or financially unable to do the repairs themselves.
The congregation of Wightman gave more than $36,500 to a project called W.A.R.M. On December 28th and 29th, 2007, repairs were made to 16 houses in Newberry County.
“People like you are a wonderful blessing— thank you for what you did! You did make a difference in my house and I thank you so much for caring and I know it looks so good. It feels clean to touch. Please tell the crew at Wightman Methodist that I am so grateful for all their work. God’s blessing," Fran Dehardt & family
