Matthew 28:18-20 “Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Brought to you by BibleGateway.com. Copyright (C) NIV. All Rights Reserved. |

W.A.R.M 2009 W.A.R.M. stands for Weatherization and Repair Ministry and is intended as a missions outreach to the community surrounding Wightman to let them know we care and, more importantly, that God loves them. The purpose behind the W.A.R.M. project is to reach out with Christ’s love to our neighbors outside our church membership by making much needed repairs on their homes—repairs they either cannot afford or are not able to make themselves. By and large the homes we worked on were the homes of elderly widows and widowers, but there was some work done for families. Repairs made include: replacing windows, winterizing windows and doors, replacing leaky roofs, repairing faulty plumbing, painting, etc.
This year’s site leaders were: Sam Gause, Travis Grimsley, Kenny Sanders/Jack Hamm, Ron Wood, Larry Jones, Randy Suber, Clyde Ward, Bubba Harris, Eddie Sloop, Jackie Harris, David Hamm, Ken Cope, Johnny Smith, Blake Brigman, Eddy Richardson, & Linda Spence.
