Wightman has a comprehensive program for youth.
United Methodist Youth Fellowship: UMYF members participate in Bible studies, Souper Bowl Sunday and Youth Sunday as well as Youth Fellowship activities. They also participate in mission efforts for needy citizens in the county.
R.I.O.T. Team: The R.I.O.T. team (Righteous Invasion of Teens) centers around a choreographed liturgical interpretation of contemporary Christian music. The routine includes simple dance steps, dowel rods, and sign language. The group meets most Sundays at 5:30 p.m. in conjunction with the UMYF. They participate frequently in worship services at Wightman, community events, and at other local churches.
