The children of Wightman have a variety of activities in which to participate.

Children's Church:  The objective of this age appropriate worship is to teach children how to worship so they will be able to participate in “big church”. They take an active part in the service and follow an order of worship similar to the one used in the regular service. Children’s Church is for children age 3 through 3rd grade. At a designated time during the 9:00 worship service, children will be dismissed together to go to Children's Church.

UMKids Choir:  The UMKids begin practicing in September for their annual Christmas Cantata to be presented during the advent season.  For more information on children's music programs click here.

Sunday School:  Children's Division Sunday School is offered each Sunday at 10:15 a.m. for infants through fifth grade.  Our children's classes study the major stories of the bible.  These age-appropriate lessons are structured to include a variety of activities to help children learn and experience God's love.  A birthday party is held on the last Sunday of each month for the children having birthdays in that month.

UMKids:  Special outings/activities are planned for the children once a month.  See this month's newsletter in the information section or check the calendar for this month's activity.

Vacation Bible School:  VBS is held each summer.  This is a fun-filled week of extensive Bible study based on a theme that is taught using crafts, activities, music, storytelling and recreation. All ages are invited.
