United Methodist Women Leader: Dennis Armstrong and Johnette Kinard The United Methodist Women is an organized group of women dedicated to mission work, both in the local church and beyond, in the community, the nation, and the world. Technically, any woman who is a member of the United Methodist Church is a member of UMW. On the first Tuesday of February, May, August and November, a joint meeting of the two circles is held at 7:30 p.m. at the church.
Wightman United Methodist Church has two organized circles:
Clarkson-Counts Circle: Meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the church Fellowship Hall.
Sisters of Christ (SOC) Circle: Meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. See monthly newsletter under the website Info Center for additional meeting information.
