United Methodists Responding to Disaster

Small House, Big Impact

If you have looked at Wightman’s walking track you have seen a very tiny house. The house represents Tiana’s house, an orphanage in El Salvador that Wightman has been working with for the past three years. Recently, we learned the orphanage could be completed by Christmas, but $15,000 is needed to complete the job. While our public schools have been in session for a couple of weeks now, with the start of September it seems like we get more focused on education and learning. This is also true at Wightman Church. Every fall and spring, we hold some Christian education experiences to further your understanding of scripture and assist you in your walk with Christ.
